Question 1

Which parking garage can my tall car or SUV fit in?

Accepted Answer

ParkProof lists public parking garages with their verified clearance height. Enter your car height (plus a roof box or roof rack if you have one) and ParkProof shows which garages you can enter safely, which will be tight, and which are too low.

Question 2

Where does ParkProof get parking-height data?

Accepted Answer

Heights are sourced from OpenStreetMap, operator websites, and — most importantly — drivers who verify the posted height sign at the garage entrance. Every height value shows its source and verification status. Garages confirmed by drivers are marked Verified.

Question 3

Which cities does ParkProof cover?

Accepted Answer

ParkProof is live in Zürich, Switzerland — the first Verified City. Geneva and Basel are seeded and being verified. New European cities are added on driver request.

Question 4

Does ParkProof account for a roof box or roof rack?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ParkProof lets you toggle a roof rack (+10 cm) and roof box (+40 cm) on top of your car's stock height before checking whether a garage fits. This is what makes it useful for ski trips, summer holidays, and cars with cargo carriers.

Question 5

Is ParkProof free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, ParkProof is free to use on iOS and on the web.
